The Dixie Dawn Band

The Dixie Dawn Band was formed in 1981 with Darrel Bryant and David Johnson. Since the band's formation, they have enjoyed playing at premier tourist attractions in North Carolina as well as opening for top names in country music. Dixie Dawn has been the house band at family-style entertainment establishments and have been favorites at the Merlefest in Wilkesboro for several years. Dixie Dawn plays today's top country songs as well as classic country, gospel, bluegrass, and 50's rock and roll. With their diverse musical show filled with medley's, comedy, great playing and singing, they put on a show which continues to have a following of loyal fans from all over the South.
