Ridgecrest

Ridgecrest is a fast-rising bluegrass band based in the Lenoir, NC area. Their primary emphasis is based on traditional style picking and singing but with a number of different approaches, one of which is the ability to select songs that have not previously been performed in the bluegrass style.

Co-founders of the group are Clarence Greene, who plays mandolin and Bob Macchia on the banjo. The guitarist is Doug Trivette and Rex Annas holds down the bass fiddle slot.

They are regular performers at Sims BBQ near Granite Falls, NC and are available for festivals, private functions, etc. They are currently working on a CD showcasing the group’s many talents. You can find out more about them by calling 877-388-4600 or 828-729-0220.
